Job Description This is a remote position.
Schedule: Total hours: 40 hours per week or 8 hours per day Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Texas time (or 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM Manila time) With 1 hour unpaid break in between Client location or time zone: Texas, USA - CST Company/client overview: The client runs a company that operates nightclubs and restaurants.
They have a large accounting team of around 40 people to handle their financial operations and compliance requirements as a public company.
Responsibilities: Start with accounts payable data entry Potential expansion to other accounting areas in the future Enter accounts payable invoices into the company's system Code invoices to the correct general ledger accounts Ensure data entry accuracy and attention to detail Assist in payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Provide administrative support in the finance department.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role.
Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with accounting software and databases.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Effective communication skills.
