Job Description Join a dynamic virtual team as a Client-Facing Accounting Supervisor.
In this critical leadership role, you'll leverage your technical expertise, communication skills, and managerial acumen to provide high-quality financial guidance to our clients and oversee a team of accounting staff.
You'll ensure consistent standards across deliverables and foster trusted client relationships by addressing complex financial matters with clarity and professionalism.
Responsibilities Review and analyze detailed client financial statements, payroll, reports, and supporting documentation Identify opportunities for financial improvement, resolve issues, and make strategic recommendations for clients Conduct video meetings with clients, delivering insights in an approachable and understandable manner Build and maintain trust with clients when discussing sensitive financial issues Supervise and provide guidance to a team of accounting professionals, ensuring quality and consistency in client deliverables Manage multiple client priorities, coordinating with team members to meet deadlines and compliance standards Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulations, providing training or updates to team members as needed Collaborate closely with senior management to drive continuous improvement and streamline processes within the firm Requirements Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting/finance experience Minimum of 2 years supervisory level experience with the ability to manage and develop financial policies, procedures, and team productivity.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related quantitative field Exceptional communication abilities to explain complex topics clearly Strong analytical skills and acute attention to detail Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite CPA license is required, and m ust hold a CPA certification Work experience in the audit department is a MUST Experience with US payroll is required Familiarity with US Tax Returns is a plus IMPORTANT!!
