Accounting Supervisor (Accounts Payable)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Graduate BS – Accountancy or other finance course CPA license is an advantage With a minimum of four (3) years of relevant work experience in accounting or cost accounting (preferably). Prior experience as cost accountant for real estate is an advantage. Proficient in computer skills – Microsoft Application, (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong communication skills Observant and detail oriented Critical thinking and Analytical Skills Strong Problem Solving and organizational skills Self-driven team player with Leadership skills Flexible and Adaptive to change MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Verification, checking, and approval of accounts payable voucher including attachments. Ensure compliance of bonds and contracts prior to release of check Review vendor related reports (PO Monitoring, Housing Monitoring, Contractor Monitoring, etc.) Attend to vendor inquiries and concerns Ensure up to date archiving of payment voucher and related attachment (soft and hard) Updating of policies related to disbursements Monitoring of Unreceipted Conversion Fees Other Tasks Suggest and implement process improvements. Review and update of accounting policies and procedures. Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
