We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting/Bookkeeper with a strong background in Finance and Accounting to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our administrative processes while also contributing their financial expertise to various tasks.
This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and a deep understanding of financial principles.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Data Management: Handle financial data entry, including invoices, expenses, and financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
Maintain financial records and organize documentation for audits, compliance, and reporting purposes.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budget reports, and variance analysis.
Expense Tracking and Reconciliation: Monitor and reconcile company expenses, identifying discrepancies and ensuring proper coding for accurate reporting.
Collaborate with the finance team to track expenses against budget allocations and provide insights on spending patterns.
Vendor and Client Relations: Communicate with vendors and clients regarding financial matters, resolving any billing or payment issues that may arise.
Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure accurate vendor information and adherence to payment terms.
Financial Analysis: Support the finance department in conducting financial analysis, including profitability assessments, cost analyses, and trend evaluations.
Assist in preparing financial forecasts and projections, contributing insights to aid in decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in an administrative role with a focus on finance and accounting tasks.
Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and budgeting processes.
Proficiency in using financial software and tools such as Quickbooks online, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Adept knowledge and experience in GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal – English Level C1/C2 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Prior experience in financial analysis and reporting is a plus.
Preferably with experience working in a US Tech company.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements in finance and accounting.
