We are currently recruiting for an Accountant to join our team.
Stolt Tank Containers (STC) is a leading provider of door-to-door transportation services for bulk-liquid chemicals and food-grade products. With a fleet of more than 45,000 tank containers, STC is the only operator with its own worldwide network of 22 owned and joint venture depots.
What will you be doingAs an Accountant you will assist in the finance function for STC Colombia. This includes processing office expenses, assisting in monthly close processes, and preparation of select balance sheet reconciliations. Assist in reporting of timely and accurate financial information for STC Colombia.
Key responsibilitiesHandle the processing of supplier invoices for STC Colombia electronically through the internal system.Record incoming cash receipts.Prepare select balance sheet reconciliations and monthly journal entries as needed.Assist in the preparation and distribution of the monthly financial statements for STC Colombia, including variance explanations.Assist in preparation of VAT returns with holding tax, industry commerce tax, and any other statutory filings for STC Colombia.Assist in preparation of annual income tax return in conjunction with Accounting Manager and local tax advisors.Assist with internal audit as required by providing copies of source documents as requested and acting as liaison with local staff during an operational audit.QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.A minimum of 2 years general accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or industry-specific corporation.Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities.An experienced user in ERP Systems (Oracle preferred) and with Microsoft Suite.What we offerYou will be part of an international organization with opportunities for personal growth.Competitive pay and benefits package.A full-time role.About Stolt-NielsenStolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL), is focused on opportunities in logistics, distribution, and aquaculture.
