Our Company Join our team at GPS Trackit as an Accounts Receivable Specialist.
We are seeking a proactive, results-oriented professional to optimize our financial processes.
Your responsibilities will include organizing and streamlining accounting systems, monitoring payments and expenditures, preparing invoices and receivable statements, addressing client inquiries, and handling basic recordkeeping.
Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with the management team during busy periods.
Duties and responsibilities: Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress, identifying accounts with overdue payments and keeping records of the amount owed and the length of the delinquency.
Locating debtors and contacting them via phone or mail to address their overdue payments and determine the reason for the outstanding debt Communicating with the sales department to maintain accurate and updated information on client accounts and payments Contacting customers to inform of delinquency, encourage on-time payments and set up payment plans that can facilitate good credit Processing customer payments, account adjustments, and customer refunds where appropriate Reviewing records for accuracy and handling disputes to make sure that account information is entered and maintained appropriately Identify outstanding account receivablesInvestigate historical data for debts and bills.
Take action in order to encourage timely payment Process payments and refunds Resolve customer credit issues Update account status records Requirements You are not required to possess prior experience to be considered for this position; individuals with a background in administrative roles are encouraged to apply Excellent knowledge of billing procedures Knowledge of various collection techniques Proficient in Excel, able to maintain spreadsheets with intermediate formulas (SumIfs, Vlookups, Pivot Tables) Experience working with Salesforce, Netsuite, Fusebill, or other similar accounting software, preferred Personal attributes: Team player, motivated, eager to learn, able to thrive in a changing environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong listening and presentation skills Calm conflict resolution skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Proficient in English (C1 level) Comfortable working with targets Associate's/Bachelor's degree is a plus Conditions: Permanent contract Hybrid Work Model  Monday to Friday schedule from 8 am to 6 pm Benefits: We are a rapidly growing company Permanent employment contract We provide life and health insurance coverage for you and your family We offer opportunities for professional growth and development Corporate discounts for you and your family We are Pet Friendly  Free snacks and coffee at our offices Many more benefits...
