Ideal Candidate Profile: The Account Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day client communications, ensuring client needs are met, and driving client retention.
This role involves working closely with content creators, data analysts, and email marketing experts to optimize client engagement and ROI.
The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a client-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities: Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for 10-15 marketing clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
Timely Communication: Respond promptly to all client communications within 12 hours, Monday through Friday.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members to align strategies and meet client needs, ensuring the on-time launch of marketing initiatives.
Reporting: Provide recurring, data-driven reports to clients and team experts, reviewing marketing performance and identifying opportunities for enhancement.
Content Management: Maintain comprehensive content calendars for each client and manage content approvals to ensure consistency and quality.
Content Execution: Offer basic content support, including the creation and auditing of campaigns and automations in collaboration with the team.
Optimization: Communicate important learnings from various client strategies and share key learnings with the team to improve overall performance.
Platform Utilization: Navigate organizational platforms and the marketing platforms of clients to execute initiatives effectively.
Qualifications: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in digital marketing.
Minimum of 1+ years of experience as an account manager for a digital marketing agency.
Preferred: 2+ years of experience directly in email marketing across consumer and B2B businesses.
Proficiency with major email service providers and text platforms.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis.
Basic understanding of laws and regulations impacting the email and text marketing channels.
Basic understanding of factors affecting marketing performance, including audience, offer, content quality, send volume, open rate, click-through rate, and conversion rate.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Active listening skills, conscientiousness, and exceptional attention to detail.
Empathy towards client goals and an understanding of the market the client is reaching.
Ability to build strong rapport with both internal team members and external clients.
Nice-to-Haves Experience in managing multiple clients simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with poise.
Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
