Job OverviewTE Connectivity's Account Management Teams are responsible for selling TE's products, systems or services, providing detailed technical product information and maintaining relationships with customers in assigned geographic territory, industry or accounts.
What your background should look like:Responsible for sales in Distributors, Contractors and EPC´s, selling all TE Product Lines for Cable Accessories, Connectors, Products for the Asset Protection of Distribution Networks, Smart Grid, Substation Networks and CTS solution developing new customers and actively looking for new opportunities. Specially focused on the renewable projects market.
Key tasks of the job:
To prepare and meet Sales Forecast and Key Metrics.To develop and understand the position of the customers in the market, their product, points of difference and competitive landscape.Know and develop all the actors of renewable projects: owners, investors, developers, regulators, contractors.To generate demand identifying opportunities within assigned territory by specifying TE products carrying out Trainings, Technical Presentations and Seminars, etc.To establish and build strong working relationships with customer stakeholders.To prepare Commercial Bids/Tenders, negotiate contracts and close agreements maximizing profits. For the Product Definition working together with the BDM, PM's, Product Specialists and Application Engineers, defining the technical solutions in accordance with customer and product specifications.To follow up on the contracts and Purchase Orders working together with Customer Care, Operations and Finance areas.
Qualifications & specialist training required:
Degree: Electrical Engineer with BA/BS in Sales/Marketing Management.Foreign Language: English proficiency.Skills: Capable to give technical and sales presentations / excellent communication, Sales Acumen. Must be capable to specify products and discuss technically with the customer applications.Potential to grow in the organization.Experience required:
Overall experience not less than 5 years as Sales Engineer, managing key accounts, selling electrical products in Distribution Channels, Electrical Contractors and relationship with renewable market contractors.Skill / aptitude required:
Proven work experience as Sales Account Manager or Engineer.Solid experience with Salesforce software.Excellent Negotiation and Written and Verbal Communication Skills (Listening / Speaking).Friendly behavior, having power of persuasion and ability to assert oneself.Being willing to travel inland and abroad.Product and Industry knowledge.Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision.Straightforward, personable, active.Desire to work in a growth-oriented environment.CompetenciesValues: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork.
