Account Executive 2Job Summary Sells Equinix solutions to new accounts and/or expands existing accounts.
Focus on mid-size domestic and global accounts.
Responsibilities Identify customer's business needs, challenges and technical requirements and match to Equinix solutions; leverage external partners to drive solution development in new areasDrive net new logo businessDevelop go-to-market plans including prioritizing list of accounts for short and long-term pursuitCoordinate with Opportunity Development Team (Inside Sales) on a strategy for lead and sales opportunity qualification and pursue highest propensity prospectsEngage and influence broad set of decision makers within prospects and clientsStrategize, negotiate and close dealsDrive a coordinated sales approach with the complete Equinix Sales team including: Marketing, Sales Engineers, Customer Care, etc.Support and promote corporate strategy and initiativesExceed an annual sales quota, with focus on number of new logos acquiredQualifications Minimum 5-7 years of experience selling technology solutionsStrong solution selling skills, including extensive experience selling to the C-suiteProven experience selling to enterprise customersProven experience selling to the Enterprise indirectly with support of partners (channel or platform/technology partners)Proven experience selling large-scale solutionsStrong relationship management skillsAbility to leverage network for introductions/new business prospectsProven ability to work well as part of an extended sales teamBachelor's degree preferredEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
