Position : Construction Estimator Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-5 pm EST Holidays : TBD Salary Range: 1200-2500 USD Payment Frequency: Monthly Scope of the role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Estimator to join our growing team.
You will be vital in driving sales and project success through accurate estimating, effective communication, and seamless collaboration.
This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, manage all aspects of the estimating process, and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Duties and responsibilities: Analyze inbound requests for proposals (RFPs) and invitations to bid (ITBs) Prepare takeoffs from architectural plans to estimate material and labor costs Develop competitive and accurate cost estimates for projects Run all proposals by leadership for review and approval before submission Participate in outbound sales activities for General Contractor (GC) accounts Cultivate relationships with potential clients and develop sales opportunities Coordinate material purchasing with leadership to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery Create comprehensive job information folders containing all essential project details for the field operations team Ensure a smooth and efficient handoff of projects to operations Maintain accurate and up-to-date project information within the company CRM system Requirements: C1 English level, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
(Must Have) Must be able to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications Proven ability to prepare accurate and detailed takeoffs from construction documents Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field (preferred) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong attention to detail and accuracy Must be fluent in English.
Bilingual a plus (Spanish preferred) Background in construction management is a strong advantage
