Responsibilities Act as a trusted member of Worley's Data Protection Office team reporting directly into the Group  Privacy Officer but with responsibility to deliver or assist in the delivery of the following core Data  Protection Office activities: Inform and advise the group and employees of their obligations under GDPR and other  applicable data protection legislation e.g., in Asia, Middle East. Assist in monitoring and auditing business units and group companies' compliance with the  GDPR, other data protection legislation, and its data protection policies and procedures,  including by conducting internal and supplier reviews, assigning monitoring responsibilities and  reporting on outcomes of audit and monitoring. Conduct data privacy impact assessments (DPIAs). Respond to data subject access requests on behalf of Worley. Assist in data privacy breach response management. Lead/Participate in in awareness-raising activities and training of employees on their obligations  under data protection legislation and the company's data protection policies and standards. Assist in establishing data protection policies, procedures, and compliance and enforcement  structures. Act as one of the contact points for data protection queries from employees. Functional: Participate as subject matter expert in the ongoing change program relating to privacy. Demonstrate ability to clearly and concisely communicate the privacy implications of technology  and implementation. Make actionable recommendations using knowledge of data protection law, statistics, business  understanding and common sense. Help, organize, and manage the Data Protection Office's priorities. PERSON SPECIFICATION Transferable skills and experience:
Data Protection Compliance: Good experience of data protection compliance frameworks, and of providing training on data protection compliance. Relationship Management: Experience of maintaining good relationships with internal stakeholders, regulators, and clients. Project Management: Experience of working on data protection-related projects. Legal: Good knowledge of data protection law, especially GDPR, and its practical application. Experience or Law Studies in USA. Experience in providing practical training on data protection law. Legally qualified – 5 years+ PQE, with at least 3 years' working in the area of Data Protection. Experience of a multinational company environment required.
IT: Working knowledge of using software to handle data protection matters and experience in working with IT Security teams preferable.
