Responsibilities :CORPORATE COUNSEL – BILINGUAL SPANISH-ENGLISH Lexmark is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our team, who will provide strategic negotiation, risk assessment and management and contract drafting support. The Corporate Counsel will drive agreements to closure with a sense of urgency while protecting Lexmark. The Corporate Counsel will also collaborate with stakeholder and cross-functional teams to develop and implement improvements to the contracting processes and tools. Responsibilities Plans, organizes and controls Lexmark's agreements Works with customers, account executive teams, and Lexmark leadership to drive development and negotiation of Lexmark agreements Responsible for development and administration of terms and conditions associated with Lexmark's offerings and templates (agreements, amendments, confidentiality agreements, software license related agreements, others)Review and understand contract compliance challenges related to leasing, including governmental and regulatory complianceReview customer proposed contracts, bid packages and requests for proposal and advise management teams regarding contractual risks and risk mitigation strategiesIdentify and quantify economic and operational exposure proposed in managed print solutions and service opportunitiesWork with sales and operations while being responsive to treasury and finance functions on deal structure and termsEnsure that contract deliverables are properly documented in the appropriate tools and available to the enterprise Assist in developing and enhancing Lexmark's global privacy, data protection and security programs.
