WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:We are looking for a HR Coordinator that will be executing and coordinating key processes within the Human Resources department, ensuring compliance with internal policies and current labor regulations while fostering an efficient, safe, and development-oriented work environment for employees.Key Responsibilities:Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with Colombian labor laws (Substantive Labor Code, Social Security Law, Occupational Health and Safety Laws, etc.
).Stay updated on changes to labor regulations and ensure the company remains compliant.Manage and oversee interactions with relevant governmental entities as required.Talent Management: Manage the onboarding process for new employees, from the offer stage to final hiring.
Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and other administrative hiring documents.Design and deliver induction programs for new employees to ensure proper integration into the team and company culture.Register and update employee information in internal HR systems (personnel database).Issue employment-related letters, such as employment verifications, income certifications, and other documents required by employees, following internal procedures.Keep track of vacations, absences, subsidies and other employee-related metrics.Manage and organize employee documentation, including contracts, resumes, permits, absences, and other labor-related documents.Maintain up-to-date physical and digital employee files to meet legal and organizational requirements.Manage the termination or offboarding process for employees.Organizational Climate and Culture: Foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, motivation, and productivity.Promote the company culture based on organizational values and principles.Labor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees to address basic concerns, conflicts, or complaints, managing these situations effectively and fairly.Support the dissemination of internal communications related to HR policies.Organize and manage organizational activities and events.Occupational Health and Safety: Implement and monitor policies and procedures related to workplace health and safety.Coordinate training sessions and campaigns to prevent occupational risks.Ensure compliance with Colombian occupational safety regulations.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources, or related fields.Courses or certifications in occupational health and safety are a plus.Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.Experience implementing occupational health and safety programs.Technical Knowledge: Understanding of the Substantive Labor Code, Social Security Laws, and other labor regulations in Colombia.Basic knowledge of performance indicators (KPIs).Spanish and advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken.Competencies: Leadership skills with the ability to represent the department to employees.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks.Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a service-oriented approach.
