Video Editor October 2024 Role: We're excited to offer an opportunity for a Video Editor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in delivering video edits with expertise in ad creative videos and social content specifically: motion graphics, short and long form video. Responsibilities: Video Editing and Production: Edit and assemble raw footage into a finished product that meets the brand's standards and objectives. Ensure videos are optimized for various platforms and devices such as: Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Amazon, X, Pinterest, web, print and more. Collaborate with the project supervisors and clients to understand project requirements and objectives. Concept Development: Generate video concepts, storyboards and ideas that align with the brand's voice and objectives. Transform concepts into visually compelling and engaging video content. Create with the intention to drive conversations and engagement. Post-Production: Add special effects, graphics, music, and transitions to enhance video quality and engagement. Color correct and color grade footage to maintain a consistent visual style and brand identity. Provide multiple variations of the same video with unique hooks (first 3-seconds) as required by the client. Content Management: Organize and maintain video files, assets, and archives. Keep updated with the latest video editing techniques, software, and trends. Feedback and Revisions: Receive and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve video content. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Results: Production Efficiency: Complete 2-6 video editing requests per day. Turnaround video edits within 1-3 days. Address revision requests within 24 hours. Complete projects with 2 revisions or less to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction. Quality and Consistency: Produce high-quality video content that enhances the brand's visibility and engagement across various platforms. Maintain brand consistency and integrity across all video materials. Achieve consistent client satisfaction through effective communication and high-quality video edits. Requirements: Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in video editing and production. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar. Strong understanding of video editing techniques, color grading, and visual storytelling. Ability to translate creative concepts into compelling video content. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of current video editing trends, techniques, and best practices.
