Tech Lead SRE 1886350599 Remote Expires on 25 Dec 2024 ABOUT THE ROLE As a Tech Lead (SRE), you will be responsible for the quality of the technical deliverables of your team, establish a technical vision with the development team, and work with engineers to ensure that the company's systems and applications are highly available, scalable, and resilient. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Oversee the work of SRE engineers, providing technical leadership and mentorship. • Ensure that production systems maintain a high level of availability, reliability, and scalability. • Define and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Indicators (SLIs). • Design and implement monitoring strategies, incident detection, and problem resolution. • Oversee infrastructure, both in the cloud and on-premise, and assist in decision-making related to scalable, high-performance architectures. • Identify areas where automation can improve efficiency and reduce operational risk. • Promote a culture of shared operations, working closely with development teams to incorporate reliability and scalability principles from the start of the software lifecycle. • Evaluate new technologies and tools that can enhance the reliability, performance, and efficiency of systems. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience. • 4-5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering with hands-on expertise in the following technologies. • Strong programming/scripting knowledge (e.g. Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.). • Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks. • Systematic problem-solving approach with effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive. • In-depth understanding and application of SRE principles and best practices. • Experience in one or more of the following: Java, Python, or Go. • Experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, and software design. #J-18808-Ljbffr
