Position Title: Tech Lead Architect Location: Hybrid - Medellin, Colombia What you will be doing: In the dynamic field of logistics and transportation, the Solution Architect role is crucial for the development and implementation of innovative technology solutions. This position demands a highly collaborative approach, working alongside various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of solutions that not only meet technical and business requirements but also drive innovation and efficiency. A significant component of this role involves customer-facing responsibilities, where you will directly engage with clients to understand their needs, tailor solutions, and enhance their overall experience with our services. Responsibilities: Extensive experience promoting and working with test driven development. Hands-on participation in design, coding, testing, and deploying systems. Mentor and encourage other developers. Work with front-end stacks such as Angular. Promote and continuously improve Agile SCRUM practices. Improve existing architectures as business needs and tech stacks evolve. Work effectively with remote and internal development teams. Identify requirements for new data models and API endpoints to expand our capabilities. Manage project tracking through JIRA, creating tickets and Epics. Innovate and implement new features to enhance customer experience, triage report errors, and ensure seamless solution delivery. Gather customer feedback and work with internal teams to refine and enhance product offerings continuously. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design scalable, efficient, and secure integration solutions. Troubleshoot and provide support on production issues, identifying root causes for Mulesoft integration solutions. Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing integration processes, frameworks, and tools. Document process API details including method and Authentication. Required Skills & Experience: BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related subject. Proven hands-on Software Development experience, 10+ years. Proven experience in Java and Web development technologies, 5+ years. Profound insight of Java internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc). Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, Oracle, SQL and ORM technologies (Hibernate, iBatis). Knowledge of JavaScript and popular JavaScript libraries. Working knowledge of REST frameworks. Working experience with WebSphere application server and embeddable web servers. Experience with Maven, Git and GitHub. Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira). Strong background in API management and documentation. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements. Experience with design patterns and architectural patterns. Experience with microservices, Azure cloud, and legacy servers like Websphere. Experience as application architect, 4+ years. Experience working with front-end on Angular, 3+ years. Nice to haves: Experience in Supply Chain Logistics is a plus. Experience in development of Warehouse Management systems is a plus. Experience interfacing with autonomous control system is a plus. Working knowledge of C programming in the Unix/Linux environment. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively across different time zones. Good arithmetic, reading, and typing skills. Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. Be able to see, speak and hear. Ability to manage stress and productivity guidelines.
