Chevron is accepting online applications for the Tax Analyst position through September 6th at 11:59 p.m. Senior tax analyst with more than four years of experience in the hydrocarbon sector in companies classified as big taxpayer and/or large company. Responsible for all tax compliance matters of the company, in accordance with current regulations. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Preparation of municipal and national tax and information reports. Review and analysis of changes in tax regulations, identifying impacts on business processes and interaction with business units to communicate changes (emphasis on taxes applicable to the fuel business segment). Implementation and maintenance of tax related processes. Supporting the business units in consulting issues and handling information requests for internal purposes. Leadership in tax planning initiatives, evaluation and participation in business projects to measure tax impacts. Addressing tax audits, information requests, and coordination and support in litigation matters. Support in monthly and annual closing activities related to tax issues (accrual calculations, effective tax rate, deferred income tax). Other inherent to the position Required Qualifications: Public Accountant with specialization in Taxes Knowledge of IFRS international standards Intermediate-advanced English Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Excel Handling of accounting software SAP, JDE Skills in digitization and process automation processes.
