Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as an Integration Oversight Lead to manage program support for interface transition from active development to sustainment. Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of interfaces and plan timeline for transitioning to sustainment. Gather, collect, and populate data for the VistA and Non-VistA legacy application cutover and transition templates. Provide recurring reports and metrics on completion of the cutover and transition effort specific to VistA and Non-VistA legacy applications. Engage with existing legacy system owners, business owners, and Cerner. Coordinate and support various meetings, create meeting minutes, track action items, and follow up. Create and manage plans for interface decommissioning. Identify, remediate/escalate technical challenges, gaps, risks/issues, and develop a project plan to successfully execute the transition to sustainment. Minimum Qualifications: 15+ years of professional work experience. Must create strategies and plans for integration of multiple IT systems/subsystems into an operational unit, ensuring full functional and performance capabilities are retained. Coordinate with development and user teams to assess risks, goals, and needs and ensure that all are adequately addressed. Must be experienced in introducing new hardware or software into a new or existing environment while minimizing disruption and mitigating risks. Must be cost-conscious while addressing goals. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent; or an additional 8 years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
