Support Engineer

Job Description: Primary Skillset: • SQL Server, SSIS, C# .Net, VB.Net Good to have skills: Hadoop, Spark, Scala, Azure Databricks & Python. Principal Accountabilities: Production support tasks: Picking up incidents in Service Now ticketing tool, acknowledging, responding with proper updates and determining solutions. Good debugging skills to perform root cause analysis and provide permanent fixes. Developing automation tools and enhancing existing processes/systems/manual tasks on assigned applications. Continuously studying and reviewing systems to improve understanding of them (domain and new technologies). Communicating with users with clear details in email and Service Now for assigned incidents. Learning technologies in a short time and applying them appropriately to the system. Job Skill Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience with development or support projects on SQL Server and C#.Net/VB.Net. Ability to migrate legacy systems/servers to higher versions. Ability to write and analyze complex SQL procedures and perform performance tuning. Ability to work on multiple projects/reports concurrently. Strong troubleshooting skills.
