This role is part of Finance Operations with the successful candidate being a valuable contributor to the Lease Accounting team.
The Analyst is responsible for supporting Kenvue's Lease Accounting processes in compliance with company policy and applicable regulatory requirements.
What You Will Do Key Responsibilities Process responsibilities: • Support all activities related to Lease Accounting including initial lease assessments, disposals, transfers, as well as supporting the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Support ongoing improvements and automation projects within the accounting team.
• Remain current with industry trends, changes in accounting rulings, and latest technologies to ensure the team is evolving as per industry standards.
• Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements • Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope • Driving deep expertise, ensuring team are fully knowledgeable of the Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas • Generate ideas, foster, and implement continuous improvement mindset, identifying and pursuing process efficiency opportunities • Execute global Strategy & Solutions in line with taxonomy • Internally recruit, mentor, and drive the individual Process SMEs to ensure cross sector, cross region, and cross process alignment, ensuring good documentation is maintained and consistency of a global approach • If assigned a role of Operational Key Contact (OKC) then candidates will be the key liaison point within their Process for a defined Region & Sector with BUF and CFMs, answering queries, coordinating with SMEs/analysts on process and operational matters, resolving issues and updating partners on close status.
• Influence and Execute process improvements, generating ideas and implementing in line with global standards Compliance: • Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities • Understand, adhere to, and execute worldwide policies and procedures.
Identify compliance risks and recommend solutions to remediate / prevent breach • Ensure strong internal controls are in place, to achieve "adequate" internal and external audit ratings Leadership and People Management: • Attract, develop, and retain a highly competent, high-performing, motivated and diverse Credo-based team • Develop succession plans for and supportcareer development of the team • Ensure effective performance management within team • Lead Accounting team of 2 What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications • At least 4 years of professional experience is required • At least 2 years of Management / Supervisory experience is required • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels • Strong Analytical Skills • Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies • Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO • Experience in a Global Account to Report function of a large multi-state company • Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach • Successfully manage multiple priorities, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines • Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office in particular Excel What's In It For You • Competitive Benefit Package • Paid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Volunteer Time, Flexible Ways of Working & More!
