About the Role: As a Software Engineer at Veterans United Home Loans, you'll be creating and maintaining both front-end and back-end software to enhance the lives of your co-workers and clients. Your primary focus will be on supporting business objectives related to the mortgage and real estate domains, helping veterans and service members buy homes. We're seeking a Software Engineer to join us remotely in either Columbia, St. Louis, Kansas City, or Springfield, MO. Your Responsibilities: Innovative Development: Create and deliver functional software using core technologies like .NET, C#, Angular, TypeScript, etc. in an agile development environment. Apply Domain-Driven Design, adhere to Clean Code practices, and utilize object-oriented programming methodologies. Team Collaboration: Engage in whole team planning, retrospectives, and communication. Interact with Architects and Product Owners to translate requirements into actionable business logic. Standards and Best Practices: Participate in proposing and adopting Software Engineering standards related to architectural considerations and non-functional requirements such as security, reliability, and stability. Ensure proper management and visibility of borrower data and the life of a loan. Cultural Contribution: Actively contribute to strengthening the team and culture by taking on various duties as needed, excluding licensed activities. Qualifications: Relevant experience in software engineering or a related discipline. Demonstrated ability to code effectively and a solid understanding of software engineering principles.
