Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Strategist to manage and grow the company's social media presence across multiple platforms.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, scheduling, and monitoring engaging content that aligns with our brand's voice.
This role requires someone with a data-driven mindset who can interpret social media metrics to optimize performance and adjust strategies as needed.
The Social Media Strategist will work closely with content, video, sales, and account management teams to ensure cohesive and impactful social media campaigns.
Key Responsibilities :
- Content Management : Create and manage day-to-day editorial and branded content across key platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X (formerly Twitter).
- Content Collaboration : Work with content and video teams to produce engaging content for YouTube and TikTok, aiming to build and expand our audience.
- Data-Driven Strategy : Analyze social media performance data to adjust strategies, optimize content, and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Engagement : Monitor and engage with users on social media,
especially focusing on interactions with clients and branded content.
- Planning : Own the planning and execution of key social media franchises throughout the year, including branded Social Spotlight Weeks and The Muses annual VIBE Awards.
- Quality Assurance : Ensure all social media content is QAd before publishing to maintain a high standard of quality.
- Collaboration : Work closely with various departments, including sales, account management, product, and engineering, to support cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Language Skills : Proficient in English; exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience : 3-5 years of experience managing social media accounts for nationally recognized brands.
- Education : Bachelors degree in multimedia, journalism, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills : Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, -LinkedIn, YouTube, X), Sprout, Canva, and other relevant tools.
- Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in content quality assurance.
Nice-to-Haves :
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
- A background in data analysis and strategy development for social media.
