Job Summary: The National Gallery of Art is an art museum in Washington, D.C. The Gallery serves the nation by welcoming all people to explore and experience art, creativity, and our shared humanity. The Gallery develops the understanding of art through collecting and exhibiting in ways that reflect our nation and its histories; preserving its collections for future generations; and delivering compelling public programs and events, engaging digital experiences, and groundbreaking scholarship. The National Gallery uses Information Technology (IT) in the execution of its mission. The information technology services are managed by Treasurer's office of Digital Solutions (TDS). These services are delivered through various departments within TDS. The purpose of this work is to procure customer-oriented, technical contractor personnel to supplement the National Gallery's information technology staff supporting Tier 1 and Tier 2 User Services/Helpdesk support for endpoint computing and end-user services. Responsibilities/Duties: Consult with management to determine software solution requirements. Evaluate software solutions and system performance. Manage the development, deployment, and integration of software solutions. Determine system specifications and test data prior to software installation. Manage the installation and configuration of software solutions. Resolve software deployment and integration errors, and document processes. Maintain Active Directory structures that align with organizational requirements. Create, modify, and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions to ensure secure and efficient access to network resources. Use M365 Management console to deploy, manage, monitor M365 applications. Create shared calendars. Manage the User Services computer lab and staging area. Qualifications: Extensive experience in developing, deploying, and integrating software solutions. Proven experience as an Active Directory Administrator in an enterprise environment. Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics. Strong knowledge of Windows, M365, Adobe, and other listed software. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to identify, research, and resolve simple to moderately complex technical support issues independently. Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information systems, information technology, or 5+ years of experience in software management.
