Position Title: Senior UI/UX Designer Location: Hybrid - Medellin What you will be doing: We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in auditing and designing interfaces and user experience for web and mobile applications. The candidate must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to create high-quality designs that meet the needs of our users and the business. Your responsibilities will include: Playing a supporting role, under the guidance of senior designers, on projects of varying size and complexity. Working primarily in a pre-existing framework with established brand standards and visual ID. Assisting senior designers in developing product concepts and product designs by following design best practices. Ideating and iterating UI solutions with designers and stakeholders (product, engineering). Making user-centered recommendations to improve the overall user experience. Using design tools to deliver basic design artifacts (wireframes, user flows, interaction designs, prototypes) utilizing responsive design best practices. Creating pixel-perfect designs in Figma that follow standard grid system methodologies. Communicating design solutions to stakeholders using sketches, mockups, and other visual aids. Reviewing requirements and working off of assigned tickets, and creating their tickets and requirements where needed to better organize tasks. Staying up-to-date with emerging design trends and technologies to ensure that our products remain competitive and innovative. Maintaining strong communication and collaboration to help brainstorm and conceptualize effectively across digital communication channels. Requirements & Qualifications 4-5 years of experience in a UI/UX design role. Strong creative, technical, and critical problem-solving skills. Proficiency in remote collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Teams. Proficiency using Figma, Miro, and Material UI. Strong understanding of modern design principles and user-centered design, including expert knowledge of web design, layout, and typography. Excellent communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills. Ability and experience to thrive in a remote work environment and manage multiple tasks at once. Able to work within an evolving design system. Familiar with common web and mobile UI design patterns used by other successful eCommerce businesses. Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. A portfolio that demonstrates experience in designing user-centered solutions. Understanding appropriate applications, capabilities, and limitations of common image file types - .WEBP, .SVG, .PNG, .GIF. Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
