Our primary responsibility is to prepare and report the worldwide consolidated financial statements to senior management and to shareholders through press releases and earnings calls. Additional responsibilities include accounting consultation to internal partners, assisting with acquisitions, system improvements, and other special projects. As an Accountant, you will manage the accounting and reporting for Electronic Arts Colombia SAS, an EA studio specialized in quality and verification. You will ensure that local financial statements comply with both local accounting standards and US GAAP. You will report to the Controlling Manager. Responsibilities Under guidance, responsible for the accounting activities of EA Colombia, ensuring compliance with closing schedules, including the production of journal entries for monthly and annual closings. Ensure compliance of accounts with local and international standards, and fiscal declarations working with local consultants. Prepare closing reports and improve processes in collaboration with other support responsibilities within the Group. Support business teams in managing and controlling their activities. Support the implementation, standardization, and improvement of our processes. Plan and manage cash flow. Implement and maintain an internal control system. Resolve accounting and financial issues. Collaborate with internal and external auditors. Join our global initiative to make our Finance Team a lean and Agile organization through project involvement or by developing areas of expertise. Responsible for accounting and tax compliance related to one small size entity in both US and Colombian GAAP, with the support of management and local advisors. Qualifications ACA/ACCA/CIMA-qualified or equivalent financial accounting studies. Prior equivalent Controlling work experience with a multinational company. Experience with month-end reporting deadlines and preparation of local statutory financial statements. Fluency in English and Spanish. Proficiency in Excel. Familiarity with IFRS. #J-18808-Ljbffr
