About the role As the Regional Director LATAM, you will oversee all aspects of regional operations, including compliance, legal, partnerships sales and financial management. This role includes managing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth business processes, and driving strategic initiatives that enhance the company's footprint across Latin America. You will be responsible for the overall performance of the region, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of business goals. Your responsibilities Regional Operations Management: Lead and manage the company's operations in LATAM, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with local regulations, and alignment with global business strategies. Market Strategy & Expansion: Identify, with the support of local country managers, new business opportunities and market trends across LATAM to expand the company's footprint and reach in the region as well as review and assessment of competitors including understanding of the different pricing mechanisms applied in local markets. Partnership Development: Forge strategic partnerships with banks, payment processors, and other financial institutions to enhance the company's offerings as well as with regulators. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all operations comply with regulatory and compliance standards, working closely with legal and compliance teams, mitigating risks in local markets. P&L Management: Oversee the regional budget, ensuring that targets and revenue objectives are met while maintaining operational efficiency. Reporting & Analytics: Provide regular reports to the departments and leadership teams involved in the multi-area growth of the company, i.e., sales performance, market conditions & forecasts to the executive team. Team Leadership: Develop and lead high-performing teams to drive success in the region whilst defining goals together with those responsible for each area that is involved in commercial, product and financial growth. Process Improvement: Identify and address opportunities of improvement in terms of process and operating model. Product Development & Innovation: Analyze, with the support of local country managers, new developments and opportunities for complementary products that can add value to current and future product offerings, ensuring the company stays ahead of market demands. About you University degree in economic sciences, business administration, accounting or related field. More than 15 years of leadership experience in fintech, payment solutions, or a related industry, with a focus on operational management in LATAM. Strong knowledge of the LATAM market, including key players, legal and regulatory policies of the local markets, and market dynamics within the payments industry. Existing relations with local payment methods and banks. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proactivity. Ability to lead and adapt to a dynamic environment with constant changes at a fast pace. Fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing remote employees. Analytical and problem solving. What do we offer? Opportunities to grow within a company in hypergrowth stage.
