Iora Ecological Solutions (Iora) and the Codrin Group are embarking on a series of impactful projects in Colombia and across South America aimed at environmental conservation and sustainability. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Project Manager to oversee coordination, implementation, execution, and reporting of these initiatives. The successful candidate will support senior Iora and Codrin team members in implementing multiple forestry and REDD+ projects in the region. Location: Initial training for 3 months at Iora HO in Delhi, India followed by placement in Colombia. Responsibilities: Project Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of multiple projects, including logistical arrangements, stakeholder management, and resource allocation. Implementation and Execution: Oversee timely and efficient execution of project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including local communities, government agencies, NGOs, and project partners to ensure collaboration and support for project objectives. Field Work: Conduct field visits to project sites for monitoring progress, gathering data, and addressing any challenges or issues that arise. Proposal & Report Writing: Prepare proposals for clients and projects, prepare comprehensive reports on project progress and completion with timely reporting to the Iora Delhi HO. Required Qualification, Skills and Experience: Master's degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, Natural Resource Management, or related fields. Proven experience in project management, preferably in the environmental sector. Spoken and written proficiency in both English and Spanish is a must. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Willingness to travel frequently including field visits and meetings with stakeholders. Commitment to environmental conservation and sustainability. Additional Information: This is a full-time position working jointly with Iora and the Codrin Group. All necessary visas and logistical support for relocation to Colombia (if required) will be provided.
