Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to join our team in Colombia. This role focuses on leading software development projects from conception to deployment, specifically targeting the creation and improvement of internal tools to enhance our operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and the agility to manage rapid development cycles. Key Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Work Experience: At least 3 years of product management experience, with a proven track record in leading software development projects, particularly in fast-paced environments. Experience with internal tool development and managing short, intensive project cycles is essential. Technical Skills: Expertise in data modeling, database design, and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. A good understanding of software development frameworks and methodologies, especially Agile and rapid prototyping, is required. Project Management Skills: Strong capabilities in project management, demonstrated by a history of delivering software projects within stringent timelines. Responsibilities: Project Initiation: Identify the needs of internal teams and define the scope and objectives of new tools to be developed. Rapid Development Cycle Management: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams through fast-paced development cycles, ensuring on-time delivery of the tool within 4-6 weeks. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal stakeholders to refine requirements, incorporate feedback during development phases, and adjust project direction as needed. Technical Oversight: Guarantee the technical viability of projects, with a particular focus on data integration, user interface, and enhancing user experience. Deployment and Training: Manage the deployment of new tools, ensuring they meet all operational requirements, and lead comprehensive training sessions for users to ensure effective adoption. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Establish performance metrics, monitor tool effectiveness, and collect user feedback to guide continuous improvement efforts.
