Key Responsibilities As Barista you will create lasting memories by consistently delivering a guest-centric product experience that embraces experiential ownership and aligns with our brand standards, while adhering to health and sanitation protocols. You will also own the responsibility to create positive connections and support a guest and teammate-centric culture that increases Net Promoter, profitability, Service Excellence, and drives a safe and healthy environment in accordance with HESS protocols. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Actively ensures that Beverage Service team members at assigned bar locations act as company ambassadors and maintain a positive and professional demeanour at all times. Drives the Service Excellence culture and platform by monitoring Bar Steward, Jr. Bar Steward & Utility F&B performance in their location, providing guidance as needed and engaging with guests to ensure their satisfaction with the beverage product and service. Understands the set-up, product and service expectations of their area and promptly rectifies any shortcomings that would negatively impact the guest experience. Partners with the Bar Supervisor to act on guest feedback from all platforms and develop an action plan for immediate service recovery or a remedial action plan to improve service. Owns their experience areas and partners with the kitchen and beverage staff to oversee the development, implementation and execution of the product and service in accordance with brand standards. Ensures that all barista beverages are accurately, professionally and timely executed in accordance with company standards. Prepares and maintains a clean, sanitised and fully stocked bar area at all times and ensures that any damage to equipment, fixtures and fittings is reported immediately and rectified in a timely manner. Drives beverage sales performance and promotions, ensuring that they and their teammates actively upsell and promote all Specialty Dining venues while maintaining a guest-centric approach. Ensures guest orders are processed promptly and accurately through the on-board POS system. Responsible for all beverage inventory at the assigned location and conducts inventory counts as directed, following company guidelines and investigating variances in a timely manner.
