Location: Colombia, Medellin (Remote) Position: Middle DevOps Engineer Project Overview: Fintech project aimed at creating and maintaining banking platforms for about 10,000 users, including bank employees and clients of one of Canada's largest banks. The DevOps team supports all applications within the bank's departments. Requirements: Experience in shell and Python scripting. Experience with cloud infrastructures (OCP, PCF, AWS, Azure). Strong experience with Kubernetes. Understanding of automation tools like Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins — Pipeline, Groovy, etc.). DevOps experience in troubleshooting deployments to various environments. Understanding of concepts like RDBMS, REST, GraphQL, Microservices, Design Patterns. Development experience in any programming language. Willingness to learn new technologies and approaches (e.g. implementing and improving DevOps practices). Proactive Attitude: Demonstrated ability to take initiative and anticipate needs without needing direction. Open-Mindedness: Willingness to consider diverse perspectives and adapt to new ideas and approaches. Big-Picture Thinking: Capacity to maintain a broad perspective while understanding how individual tasks contribute to overall goals. Proficiency in English (from B2 level).
