Medical Intake

This is a remote position.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm with 30 mins unpaid lunch Anaheim, California Time Responsibilities: Answering incoming calls which is approximately 40 to 50 calls a day.  Addressing patient questions or concerns.
Gathering personal information such as name, age, contact details, and insurance information.
Recording medical history, including past illnesses, surgeries, medications, allergies, and family health history.
Documenting current symptoms and health concerns.
Verifying insurance coverage and eligibility.
Entering collected information into the healthcare facility's e-clinical work (ECW) system.
Coordinating with other healthcare providers to ensure the patient's information is accurately conveyed Scheduling appointments Scheduling procedures and surgery Doing general medical office work and getting to know the tasks of a medical office Requirements Minimal to Zero accent.
Excellent English communication skills.
Experience working with US clients.
Experience in EHR/EMR tools.
Background in E-clinical Works (ECW) is highly preferred but not required.
At least 2 years of experience in healthcare account or medical field.
Capable of handling heavy phone calls.
