Position Title: Senior Backend Engineer Location: LATAM What you will be doing: Thoughtful and Adaptable Leadership: Help set the direction for all data-centric initiatives, clearly defining the vision and approach while focusing on achieving the big picture. Product and Business Acumen: Demonstrate ownership and an entrepreneurial mindset, articulating the definition of a Minimally Viable Product (MVP) without sacrificing quality. Technology: Write, review, debug, and test code and systems, engaging in troubleshooting and architecting systems and features. Compliance and Security: Ensure security considerations are top of mind, applying compliance and governance considerations to every decision. Empathetic Leader: Set the tone for communication and collaboration, providing direction and autonomy to teams while coaching and providing feedback. Balance Velocity with Long Term Goals: Balance thinking big with delivering the right thing in an agile manner, documenting shortcuts and outlining fast-follows. Requirements & Qualifications Main Skills: Must-haves for this position: Strong experience in back-end, microservice, API-driven, and data pipelines engineering. Experience with Golang, especially the Echo framework. Experience with OpenAI and AWS API Gateway. Experience with AWS services such as S3, SNS/SQS, Lambda, ECS/EKS. Experience with PostgreSQL databases. Secondary Skills: Additional skills that will help you succeed: Experience in credit reporting, accounting, lending, banking, payments, screening companies, insurance, subscriptions, or similar industries.
