Due to constant growth, we are expanding our team and actively recruiting new employees to strengthen our project sales. We want to transform spaces by adding natural light and fresh air to various construction projects. By advising and guiding our partners (developers and architects) virtually and in-person about the possibilities and designs of VELUX, we help shape their dream projects and act as their favorite sparring partner from the first thought to the final installation. Your Challenges By joining VELUX, you will be part of a dedicated and highly qualified team in Belgium (Waver) focused on remote sales of solutions to our professional partners. Although this can be done in various ways, your biggest challenge will be to identify upstream projects (leads) and communicate to business partners how our solutions create desirable and healthy living environments. You will work closely with the Belgian Project Sales team that is active in the field. As a new "Inside Sales Specialist," you will be responsible for developing the project pipeline within the Belgian and Luxembourg market. You will have high-quality interactions via phone, email, and virtual meetings with various professionals active in these projects. Based on market knowledge and dialogue with these professional partners, you will identify and qualify relevant projects for our Project Development Managers who are active in the field, thus helping to increase sales for VELUX Group. In particular, you must: • Identify and qualify leads from external databases and digital channels to convert them into real opportunities. • Listen and gather information from partners to understand their design needs and key drivers of their project(s). • Ensure a general understanding of the project, such as construction requirements, visual and aesthetic wishes, functional needs, budget and economics, as well as the status of the construction process. • Provide relevant information about products and services to simplify the construction process. • Act as a link with internal VELUX departments to support your sales colleagues in the field and potential customers as best as possible. • Effectively manage and develop a portfolio of projects and monitor these projects remotely. About You You are enthusiastic and passionate about quality. You stand out due to your interest in people and sales. With your curiosity and using your communication skills and your ability to engage, listen, understand, and connect with your partners, you successfully leverage their needs and use your technical knowledge to build projects and determine where the construction phases are, all through phone and virtual meetings. You thrive in a dynamic environment and understand that for this position, you must be a very good team player who can work cross-functionally and has a passion for interacting with people to provide our business partners with a positive experience. You are service-oriented, quickly build relationships, and your behavior inspires trust. You actively provide suggestions, recommendations, and guidance, but you understand that to be successful, you must first and foremost listen to others. Thanks to your independent, structured approach and attention to detail, you never lose sight of a project. Of course, you know that follow-up is key to success, so meeting deadlines and delivering what is agreed upon with the partner is of utmost importance to you. Moreover: • You are bilingual (NL/FR) - both spoken and written - and have a good knowledge of English. • You have experience in the construction sector, dealing with architects and project developers, and in project planning. • You have experience in field sales or, better yet, in a construction-related internal sales department. • You can maintain high productivity and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented environment. • You quickly grasp the needs of professional partners and connect these to value propositions and tailored solutions. • You understand that our products facilitate the creation of life-changing environments. • You can collaborate cross-functionally with other sales teams, marketing, and IT. • You have strong IT skills and experience, including Microsoft Office, CRM, and ERP.
