The Matian Firm is looking for a paralegal to join our growing Adjustment of Status department. You will report directly to the Attorney. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and case management skills. We're looking for someone with knowledge of USCIS filings, including I-130, I-131, I-765 and I-485 based on 245(a), 245(i), and 245(k). This paralegal will possess knowledge about US adjustment of status laws, and participate in all aspects of our cases, including case review, analysis, preparation and filing of applications and petitions. Responsibilities Prepare immigration applications for filing with USCIS, including I-130, I-131, I-765, and I-485 based on 245(a), 245(i), and 245(k). Prepare forms, letters, documents, and correspondence for attorney review. Prepare clients for adjustment of status interview before USCIS. Maintain extensive communication with clients to provide case status and outstanding customer service. Oversee status of cases through utilization of case management systems, including CLIO and Airtable. Make regular updates to our case management systems, including client information, case tracking information, and client communications. Complete daily assignments and communicate case status during weekly meetings. Qualifications 1 year of experience with USCIS filings, specifically I-485 based on 245(a), 245(i), and 245(k). Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required. Experience with Case Management Software, such as Clio and Airtable, preferred. Knowledge of EOIR, Humanitarian, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications is preferred, but not required.
