Why SoftwareOne?At SoftwareOne, we're not just reshaping the future of technology; we're crafting a narrative where companies effortlessly build, buy, and manage everything in the cloud.With a mission to unlock the true value of technology, our 9,000+ passionate employees span across 90 countries, dedicated to guiding clients through the seamless migration and modernization of their workloads and applications.Headquartered in the scenic landscapes of Switzerland and listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange under the symbol SWON, SoftwareOne is more than a workplace—it's a dynamic ecosystem of innovation.The role As the Regional Tax Manager for LATAM, you will be part of the Group Tax Team and directly report to the Group Head of Tax.You will oversee and manage tax activities in around 20 countries in LATAM and act as primary contact for regional corporate taxes.This includes managing tax compliance in the region together with our external partners, tax reporting, tax risk management, tax planning, business partnering in customer deals and support in special projects such as M&A or restructurings.Manage tax compliance and tax reporting for our subsidiaries in LATAM in collaboration with Local Finance teams, Financial Share Service Center and our external global tax compliance partner Regional risk monitoring and reporting to Group Tax and Finance team Lead risk management and audit defense activities in coordination with both internal and external parties to minimize adjustments and penalties.Support and provide tax advice in global tax projects involving LATAM countries (e.g.restructurings) Support of M&A projects in the LATAM region (due diligence, structuring and integration) Monitoring tax legislation changes in each of the relevant jurisdictions and assessing the impact on the subsidiaries' operations as well as providing guidance necessary to comply with tax requirements.Train Local Finance teams and Financial Share Service Center staff on pertinent tax matters Provide advice on handling of international witholding tax compliance in the region Serve as a business partner to Local Finance and Sales Operations teams for complex customers deals Ensure adoption of global tax strategy and guideline.Assist with adherence to global transfer pricing policies and procedures and to ensure compliance with local transfer pricing regulations including master file, local file, and country-by-country obligations.What we need to see from you University degree in Business Administration/ Economics/ Finance or Law.Proven record of specialization in taxes;
