We are seeking an experienced Senior Vendor Manager to join our team. As a liaison between vendors and the organization, you will provide specialized consultative service and implement, drive, and maintain vendor programs, marketing, and training. You will review and negotiate terms of vendor contracts and communicate with vendors regarding day-to-day matters. You will build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and monitor vendor performance. The ideal candidate will have a four-year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field) and a minimum of 8 years functional experience including a minimum of 5 years position specific experience and 5 years supervisory experience preferably managing through subordinate managers. This role is responsible for managing a large team which typically consists of both experienced professionals and supervisors/managers. The successful candidate will be focused on policy and strategy implementation of operational plans.
