Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller & Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of our fast-growing digital marketing agency.
The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, proficiency in QuickBooks, and the ability to produce detailed financial reports.
This role involves managing day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation, and offering insights to improve financial processes and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all financial operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation.
Prepare comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
Break down revenue streams and expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and payroll laws.
Provide actionable financial insights to support business growth.
Collaborate closely with company founders and other team members.
Qualifications: Proficiency in U.S. tax codes, with a solid understanding of tax regulations and benefits specific to S-Corporations (S-Corps).
Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and payroll.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify financial trends.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Familiarity with financial planning in a digital marketing or similar environment is a plus.
Nice-to-Haves: Experience in data analysis and cost optimization.
Background in startups or fast-paced business environments.
Knowledge of automation tools to streamline financial processes.
Experience in developing financial systems from scratch.
