Finance Analyst Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Analyst to join our team in the Latin America and Caribbean region. About the Role The Finance Analyst will be responsible for providing analytical support to the Latin America and Caribbean Management team, supporting regional budget management, internal controls, periodic reporting, and related activities for the Bogota Hub country office. Based in Bogota, Colombia, the Finance Analyst will report to the Finance Officer responsible for regional resource management in LAC. Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Budgeting: Support the Finance Officer on the LAC regional budget formulation for regional resources according to work program requirements for the region. In partnership with the Human Resources function and the CBA Budget Network, prepare staffing needs projections and respective budget requirements for the LAC regional offices. Work in collaboration with country managers/officers and country office accountants to allocate country office budgets, balancing needs with total allocated resources. Resource Management: Ensure actual staff records and planned positions in PeopleSoft have correct and updated budget information including funding sources and follow governance on staff recruitment / movement processes. Ensure accurate information is reflected for unit staffing and budget forecast in Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) system. Support the central point for mobility benefits budgeting and execution of ceilings in the Region. Financial Reports, Analytics and Business Intelligence: Collaborate with CBA Resource Management Teams to share corporate level best practices and guidelines in reporting analytics, forecasting and business intelligence. Support the Finance Officer to prepare monthly total resources and budget reports for the LAC Directors. Country Office Accounting and Controls Support: Support assigned country office as Country Office Accountant as a backup function. Perform the accounting related transactions (vendors and staff payments, imprest account and asset management, staff financial assistance, etc.). Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or economics with at least 4 years of working experience. Recognized professional accreditation (CPA, CMA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.) OR master's degree is a plus. Sound knowledge and understanding of accounting theory, concepts and principles, financial accounting reporting, and cost allocations. Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
