TeamThe AM|LTO team assists our partners in the nuclear industry in the many challenges arising from an ageing fleet, the necessity of reliable operations beyond initial design life and an ever evolving set of regulatory requirements.
The AM|LTO team was created in 2021 on the basis of successes achieved during Long Term Operations related projects as LTO-1 Borssele (NL), LTO Ringhals (SWE), LTO HFR (NL) and LTO Atucha I (ARG). The activities are branded as TULIP LTO, to promote our international recognition.
Our goal is to develop the team and promote a structural growth in order to become a major independent actor in the global nuclear industry. In order achieve our goal, we are looking for an experienced engineer willing to drive our growth on the international stage by bringing to our clients NRG|Pallas expertise.
PositionIn your position you will perform as NRG|PALLAS part-time resident engineer at Atucha Nuclear Power Plant for the duration of the contracted activities.
Your duties can be subdivided in two main parts:
As part of the AM|LTO team you will:Develop and own products in the field of ageing management;Take the lead of product and business development;Lead national and international projects in your field of expertise;Contribute to the successful completion of national and international projects in the field of Ageing Management;Develop and maintain a network of specialists and decision makers;Actively participate in project acquisition;Represent NRG at national and international events and in international workgroups.As a part-time resident engineer at Atucha Nuclear Power Plant:Contribute to implement the Ageing Management Programme of Atucha I;Work independently within the ranks of the client organization to achieve the project goals;Contribute to the successful completion of the three years long outage of Atucha I in preparation of Long Term Operation;Interact with the relevant personnel of the client organization to 'get things done';Perform project acquisition and business development within the operating organization;Scout for opportunities and work toward expansion of the business framework.In this position you will be required to travel between Argentina and the Netherlands according to needs. It is expected that at least half of the yearly working time will be spent at Atucha I NPP until completion of the contracted activities.
ProfileYou have an Engineering MSc or PhD, preferably in Nuclear Engineering; – – Other relevant MSc are also considered if accompanied by the relevant working experience;You have 10+ years of experience in a relevant field and preferably in Nuclear Plant Life Management projects (Maintenance, LTO, Ageing Management). Experience in international and multicultural projects is a pre;You have proven records of successful project management;You have outstanding communication and social skills;You are proactive and self-supporting;You have excellent fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken);Extra language skills are a pre;You are culturally aware;You are keen to promote the company, build and maintain a network of specialists and decision makers;You like to deliver quality work, on budget and on time;You are ambitious and driven to demonstrate excellence.Terms of employmentBesides an interesting position and meaningful work, NRG also offers you good terms of employment.
A market-based salary;27 vacation days and 12 days of flex time;8.3% year-end bonus and 8% vacation allowance;Pension with the ABP; NRG pays 70% of the premium;Commuting expenses are reimbursed at € 0.23 per k/m, up to a maximum of 50 km one way; Public transport expenses are reimbursed 100%.Mobility budget of € 5,000 net (paid once, if you live 1.5 hours travel distance from our work location);A moving allowance if you do not live in the Netherlands.
