Who are we looking for?
Our client is seeking a supervisor to join their Drilling & Workover department who supervises and oversees the operations of contract drilling or workover rigs engaged in carrying out programmed work.
Minimum Requirements 1.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 7 years of experience working in drilling and workover operations including adequate supervisory experience on a drilling or workover rig.
2.
Or completion of ITC: English, ERW, Math, MI with 13 years relevant experience in drilling and workover operations including supervisory experience generally acquired by progression on a drilling or workover rig.
3.
Willing to live in remote areas in mobile camps.
Key Responsibilities 1.
Supervise and oversee all operations performed on our wells.
2.
Make recommendations on alternative methods or equipment when unusual situations are encountered.
3.
Coordinate deliveries of materials to the well to ensure it is available when required.
4.
Ensure that the contractor meets all requirements of his contract.
5.
Work with Drilling and Workover engineers to see that modern drilling practices are followed.
6.
Approve contractor's daily tour report.
7.
Ensure that contractor rig and equipment are properly maintained to avoid downtime.
8.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supt.
9.
Ensure that our blowout prevention standards are met in all respects including equipment configuration, testing, and crew response.
10.
Assuring that rig and personnel comply with our established safety standards and procedures.
Job Benefits 1.
Monthly Base Salary – aligned with company employees with similar skills.
2.
Monthly Overbase – 25% of your monthly base salary.
3.
Benefits Supplement – 20% of your monthly base salary, after 3 years of service, reward increases to 25% of base, after 6 years 30% of base, and after 12 years 35% of base.
4.
Severance Package (2-year vest period) – year 2 to 5: 2 week's pay for each year of service, Year 6+: 4 week's pay for each year after.
5.
Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) (eligible after 12 months of service) – maximum purchase equal to 10% monthly base pay with a cap, 20% share discount.
6.
Incentive Plan – annual; based on performance, approx.
1.8x monthly base salary.
7.
Travel Allowance – annual; approx.
$8,200 per household member 11+ years old residing in Saudi Arabia and $6,000 per household member under 11 years old.
8.
Vacation & Paid Holidays – 38 vacation days / 4 travel days / 11-13 paid holidays.
9.
Medical/Dental Plan – complimentary in-Kingdom Johns Hopkins medical care/facilities for employee and eligible family members.
In-Kingdom dental services subsidized.
10.
Educational Assistance Plan (EAP) – Out of Kingdom Assistance: 90% of expenses with a maximum per child, lesser of 5x monthly base salary or the company max ($48.5K).
11.
Settling in Allowance – one-time payment; Family Status - 100% of monthly base salary; Single/Bachelor Status – 60% of monthly base salary.
