We are seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead our Information Technology Team.
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will report to the CFO and provide thought leadership and execution rigor to a global standard with respect to companywide use of IT, Microsoft Azure Services, business systems and processes.
They will also act as trusted advisor and execution partner to the Executive Leadership Team delivering world class systems and processes to support a Global PaaS company that is scaling rapidly.
The successful Candidate will bring a demonstrated record of success in leading IT Functions with a passion for execution and getting things done in a fast-paced, high tech, matrixed environment.
They will have a strategic mindset, C-level communication skills (preferably in both English and Spanish), be attentive to details, and flawless execution.
Responsibilities: Lead a geographically dispersed IT and Business Systems Function, primarily based in Colombia and Spain, through a period of transformation required to support a scaling global PaaS business.
Evaluate stakeholder needs the IT & Business system services systems across the organization and ensure that agile development methodologies are employed to execute optimum outcomes for the business.
Maintain rigorous security policies, procedures, processes, and applications across the organization.
Proactively evaluate areas of weakness in the processes and systems of the company to ensure the needs of the company are satisfied with the right level of security, resilience and scalability.
Leverage Bizagi's products and services where appropriate to drive process automation across the enterprise.
Ensure optimum use of Microsoft Azure services internally.
Build a world class IT & business system technical capability that employs agile development methodologies to execute the optimum outcomes for the business and drive user adoption to increase the efficient use of existing resources.
Ensure a programmatic approach to deliver 'minimum levels of service to run the business' and also projects to deliver roadmap improvements based on the priorities of the business.
Ensure that those priorities are being addressed with the correct business case and solutions implemented successfully.
Drive operational excellence in all aspects of IT supporting the business as a whole, but in particular Extranet, Intranet, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Finance, commercial operations and other go to market functions.
Holding yourself and your team accountable for meeting project deliverables and milestones.
Utilize best in class workflows and applications to optimize Bizagi's business processes.
Ensure that the internal needs of the company are treated with high priority and become an ambassador for the business operations requirements.
Balance use of dedicated team and Bizagi professional services resources to deliver the most effective and efficient implementation cadence.
Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business goals, overseeing the management and governance of data, ensuring its accuracy, availability, and usability.
Ensure that third-party vendors comply with the organization's standards and includes conducting security audits and assessments of vendors.
Monitor and optimize supplier costs.
Maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that protects the organization's data and IT infrastructure, including risk management, compliance, certifications, incident response and employee training and awareness.
Work with internal customers to enhance the CRM and ERP systems.
Skills and Experience: BSc/BA in computer science, engineering or relevant field; MSc/MA will be preferred.
Proven experience as CIO or similar managerial role in a global SaaS/PaaS or product organization.
Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, Microsoft services and in particular Azure.
Knowledge of Dynamics, Marketo, Martech options, Website optimization & CMS, process automation, and Digital Marketing.
Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation.
Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting and business operations.
Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
A strong strategic and business mindset.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish).
Experience of leading agile business systems development functions and PMO as well as effective management of business-as-usual services.
Strong technical skills in relation to system design and implementation.
Customer facing experience and comfortable presenting internally and externally.
Experience of running multiple projects as part of a program or portfolio office.
Consultative approach to business/process improvement.
Highly effective in collaborative team working.
Ability to speak and write in English and Spanish.
