Role reports to: Global Procurement Director, CCFS Location: Bogota, Colombia Travel: 0% What you will do The Lead Analyst is responsible for providing supplier analysis, spend analysis, financial perspective and market analysis to improve the supply chain and leverage the supplier base. You will utilize data & Process Excellence (Six Sigma) to identify improvement opportunities, implement cost saving initiatives, and research benchmark information for assigned categories: Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives. Manage the procurement process from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Provide guidance and support to junior team members to ensure successful execution of procurement activities. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve procurement processes and procedures. Conduct supplier analysis, spend analysis, financial perspective and market analysis to improve the supply chain and leverage the supplier base. Utilize data and Process Excellence (Six Sigma) to identify Supply Chain improvement opportunities and drive solutions with internal team members. Implement cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects. Identify the lowest cost source of supply for assigned commodity. Research and provide benchmark (industry, cost, best practice) information for assigned categories. Report supplier performance against a set of key performance indicators as defined. Perform performance analysis including vendor performance, number of vendors, material productivity, and spending. Participate in projects/new programs when transitioning sources of supply including oversight for the technical, customer and regulatory requirements and drive solutions with internal and external customers. Communicate and present issues and solutions to groups of logistics and operations professionals. Provide support in addressing issues. Research and implement tools, processes, or infrastructures. Construct spend management databases and information warehousing for the key commodity spend categories assigned. Evaluate key components to be targeted for cost reduction and/or sourcing strategies. Qualifications What we are looking for Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desired Qualifications Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers. Knowledge of Process Excellence (Six Sigma) methodologies. Experience in supplier analysis, spend analysis, financial perspective and market analysis. Experience in identifying lowest cost source of supply for assigned commodity. Experience in benchmarking (industry, cost, best practice) for assigned categories. Experience in reporting supplier performance against a set of key performance indicators as defined. Experience in capital equipment, construction, facility services, MRO, energy, or real estate is a plus.
