We are looking for a performance-driven individual with a strong passion for coffee to join our team as a Business Development Associate.
Tasks Develop and maintain relationships with green coffee providers such as specialty coffee producers / farmers, coffee cooperatives, exporters in South and Central America Further develop relationships with green coffee providers in South and Central America Communicate with coffee providers to obtain specific coffee traceability information such as coffee information, farm information, farm pictures, etc.
in an organized manner Conduct market research on specialty coffee producers, and origins, as well as gather information about coffee events Communicate with management and sales team on coffee information and farm details Assist logistics team in managing transport / freight related communication to ensure shipments are moved in a timeline manner Prepare and translate marketing materials for external communications with partners Responsible for launching sales related communication material, and efficiently following up on information in the CRM to optimize.
Assist in preparation of offerlists and other related commercial documents related to coffee sourcing process Travel to coffee origins / farms in South and Central America to build sourcing network Requirements Prior experience / knowledge / understanding in specialty coffee Fluent in both spoken and written English and Spanish is required Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Canva Ability / preference to work in a dynamic / entrepreneurial environment Willingness to learn and develop a career in the Coffee Industry Team player/problem solver, resourceful in creating solutions Laptop / Computer; consistent, fast internet connection Must be based in Colombia Nice to Have: Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or similar Big ideas and persistent curiosity is a good extra Benefits Work in an entrepreneurial and ownership driven environment Core knowledge and workings of the agricultural distribution industry Opportunity to grow within a young and dynamic international team Attesa Coffee is a specialty green coffee importer based in Amsterdam.

Our coffee is imported to Rotterdam and safely stored at our partner warehouse, from where we facilitate swift delivery across the entire EU.
