American company's branch in Medellin is looking to hire a bilingual Accountant English-Spanish. Job description: General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payments, and collections. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns (e.g., corporate tax, VAT, etc.) and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Requirements: Certified knowledge in the administrative and/or accounting area or related field. Work experience of 1+ years, with experience in administrative support. Experience in handling calls to customers or supervisors. Excellent interpersonal relations. Attention to detail and sense of urgency. Self-managing work style. Availability to travel to the USA / American visa. Knowledge in Quickbooks. Assist 2 days of the week in the office.
