Backend Developer - Python/Php

What we are looking for At Ideaware, we are looking for a back-end developer experienced with Python to work with one of our international partners on incredible long-term projects. You will have the opportunity to work with a culturally diverse team located in Colombia and the US. Responsibilities Develop Django Rest Framework-based API and supporting micro-services. Perform code reviews for Python API and supporting micro-services. Improve existing functions and develop new ones on given specifications and architectures. Cover apps by unit and integration tests. Debug and fix errors. Communicate with other engineers and teams. Qualifications 5+ years of proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role. Experience in a Python - Django environment. Strong understanding of Python and can apply this knowledge to help maintain code quality. Deep understanding of APIs, webhooks, and real-time communication technologies. Experience in AWS/Azure/GCP. Machine Learning knowledge. Strong understanding of the complete software development lifecycle. Experience shipping production-ready code with a holistic solution approach.
