As an Associate UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and functional designs for our digital products. You'll participate in the entire design process and collaborate with cross-functional teams to help bring the user's voice to the forefront of every project. You will also enforce requirements of the existing design system and will create your own design system when needed. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with other Designers & Teams: Work with Product Designers and Stakeholders to conceptualize and create design solutions based on user needs, business goals, and technical constraints. User Research & Analysis: Assist with conducting user research (e.g., surveys, interviews, usability testing) to gather insights that will inform design decisions. Wireframing & Prototyping: Create low-fidelity wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to visualize and test design concepts. UI Design: Develop high-fidelity UI designs, including icons, typography, color schemes, and layouts, ensuring consistency with the brand identity and design systems. Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing to validate design decisions and gather feedback, iterating on designs based on findings. Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with front-end developers to ensure designs are translated effectively into functional user interfaces, maintaining design integrity. Design Systems & Standards: Assist in maintaining and contributing to the design system, ensuring consistency in the look and feel of all products. Support Product Development: Be involved in product lifecycle stages, from conceptualizing new features to updating existing ones to improve the overall user experience. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI design trends, tools, and best practices by taking advantage of ArrowFin's training and education programs. Required Skills & Qualifications: Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing design projects, with an emphasis on process, from research and wireframing to final UI design. Experience: Required minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer or in a related role, working on web and mobile applications. Design Tools: Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and/or Adobe Creative Suite. Wireframing & Prototyping: Experience creating wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts. Understanding of UX Principles: Strong knowledge of usability principles, interaction design, and user-centered design processes. UI Design Skills: Ability to create high-fidelity mockups with attention to detail in layout, typography, color, and iconography.
