We are currently looking for an experienced Architectural3D Designer to help create set designs for our studio and shoots. The role involves working closely with the art and production teams to create visually compelling environments that enhance the narrative and artistic vision of the project. The designer must balance technical precision with creative flair to produce environments that are both realistic and stylistically appropriate. Key Responsibilities: 3D Environment Modeling: Create detailed 3D models of architectural environments, including interiors, exteriors, and landscapes, that align with the artistic direction and narrative of the project. Rendering & Visualization: Produce high-quality renderings and animations for use in production, ensuring that all visual elements are consistent with the project's visual style and technical requirements. Collaboration with Production Teams: Work closely with the art director, production designers, and VFX teams to ensure that 3D environments integrate seamlessly into the overall production pipeline. Concept Development: Translate 2D sketches, storyboards, and concept art into fully realized 3D environments, ensuring that all elements adhere to the project's design language. Texturing & Lighting: Apply realistic textures and lighting to 3D models to enhance the mood and atmosphere of scenes, using software such as Substance Painter, V-Ray, or similar. Technical Integration: Optimize 3D models for use in different production pipelines, including real-time engines, virtual reality platforms, and traditional rendering workflows. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges that arise during the modeling and rendering process, ensuring that all outputs meet the studio's quality standards. Staying Current: Keep up with the latest trends in 3D design, architectural visualization, and digital production to continuously improve skills and output quality. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, 3D Design, Digital Arts, or a related field. Experience: 3-7 years of experience in 3D architectural modeling and design, particularly within a production studio or similar environment. Software Proficiency: Expertise in 3D modeling and rendering software such as Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, SketchUp, Cinema 4D, V-Ray, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine. Artistic Skills: Strong sense of design, composition, and color theory, with the ability to create both realistic and stylized environments. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with the technical aspects of 3D production, including polygon optimization, UV mapping, and real-time rendering. Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with creative and technical teams.
