The result of our work means companies can more predictably on-time, while providing accurate financial information to the CFO Role Summary: The New Feature Backend Engineer is a full time role responsible for architecting and building our back end in conjunction with our Head of Product & Chief Technology Officer.
The role requires a hybrid of technical knowledge and a depth of understanding about the business case for our application.
What You'll Do In this role, you will build skills and experience beyond traditional engineering jobs.
You'll be working alongside an exceptional team of established Engineering and UX professionals to deliver a well-scoped project with established market interest.
- Build efficient and reusable backend systems using Django REST Framework - Write new views, models, and serializers to improve application functionality - Identify and drive changes as needed for codebases, product areas, and/or systems - Execute the design, and development of our backend applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability - Champion best practices, code quality, and standards across the backend team - Stay abreast of the latest trends, tools, and technologies in backend development, incorporating them into our development processes as appropriate - Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap, providing insights and recommendations for improving our backend architecture and development processes About You: - You are a Backend Software Engineer with a desire to advance your career within a full time role at a company where your work is critical to the success of the company - You have 3+ years of experience leading software design decisions, defining and managing end-to-end project requirements, and shipping complex products with minimal guidance - Empathy, open-mindedness, and constructive feedback: Respect diverse working styles, encourage data-informed decisions, and build understanding and trust through direct conflict resolution - Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirement #J-18808-Ljbffr
