Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced IT senior analyst to join our team to develop and maintain manufacturing execution system applications for our plants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, experience in configuring/developing MES applications, and the ability to work with cross functional teams to deliver high quality solutions.
Responsibilities include:
Design, develop and maintain MES applications and software systems to meet client requirements and standards analyze and troubleshoot software issues to ensure optimal system performance.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Develop, maintain, and enforce coding standards and development best practices including but not limited to establishing naming conventions, requiring developers to add comments for functionality,
code formatting, error handling, security, code re-use, application performance standards, version control, and documentation requirements[TZ1] [SA2]
Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members.
Collaborate with the project management team to develop project plans and timelines.
Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in the MES industry.
Provide Technical Support to plants as needed.
Requirements and skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
5+ years of experience and software development
Experience installing, configuring/developing, and maintaining MES applications.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, and Java
Knowledge of MES frameworks such as POMS or POMSnet or Siemens-Opcenter Execution Medical Device (CAMSTAR) or Siemens-Opcenter Execution Pharma (XFP) is a plus.
Experience with SQL and database technologies such as IBM DB2 or Oracle
Knowledge of software development methodologies such as agile and waterfall
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience in the manufacturing industry.
Experience with cloud-based MES solutions.
Experience with IoT technologies and protocols is a plus.
Experience working in a regulated environment with knowledge of regulatory and industry standards, such as FDA regulations, ISO standards, and GMP.
Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in English. Spanish and Portuguese are a plus.
