Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible hours between 9:00AM to 5:00PM Austin, TX Time (20 hours per week) Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Virtual Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will provide support in streamlining our operations, researching market trends, and creating marketing materials to showcase our offerings.
Additionally, this role may involve occasional personal research to assist the bakery owners with family needs.
This part-time role is ideal for someone with excellent organizational skills, a creative eye, and experience with digital tools.
Responsibilities: Recipe Documentation: - Transcribe written recipes from photographed files into organized and professional Google Drive documents.
- Ensure accuracy and clarity in recipe formatting and ingredient listings.
Form Automation: - Assist in creating and optimizing forms for internal processes to increase efficiency and improve data collection.
- Research and implement automation tools such as Google Forms and Formsite to streamline workflows.
Market Research: - Conduct research on competitors, wedding venues, wedding planners, and other relevant market areas.
- Summarize findings in clear and concise reports to support strategic planning.
Creative Content Development: - Use provided photos to design attractive brochures and look books showcasing wedding cakes, specialty cakes, and desserts.
- Collaborate to align designs with brand standards and target audience preferences.
Personal Research: - Occasionally conduct personal research to support the bakery owners with family-related needs (e.g., travel arrangements, local services, or personal projects).
Requirements Qualifications: - Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Drive).
- Experience with automation tools such as Google Forms, Formsite, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Spark, or similar platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Basic research and analytical skills for both business and personal needs.
- Familiarity with the wedding or event industry is a plus.
